Methodology
All rate observations are sourced from CMS Transparency in Coverage MRFs under 45 CFR § 147.210. Distribution metrics (P10–P90, IQR/P50 ratio) are computed from pooled statewide commercial fee-for-service claims for outpatient psychotherapy. Characterizations such as “narrow” or “wide” distribution reflect statistical thresholds (IQR/P50 < 0.10 = narrow, 0.10–0.30 = moderate, > 0.30 = wide), not editorial judgments. Full methodology →
